Childcare Provider Job Description:
This position entails working with children from new born babies up to age 12. As a child care provider, you will have several roles in caring for and educating young children. Childcare giving involves basic care and nurturing; educating involves assisting a child in learning or gaining new skills or understanding; organizing responsibilities are those required to set up and maintain the child care environment and program, and connecting with families and the community. You will provide both primary and support functions. The primary functions include duties that are in direct child care and actively engaged in the supervision, safety, well-being, and development of children. Support functions include, touring parents, cooking, cleaning, or clerical tasks.
